How to Find Your True Passion in Life with Jack Canfield

By John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

ASK any number of people to name their ‘true passion in life’ and a number of them will immediately know what to say.

Some will adore making music. Some will love to draw or paint. For others it will be ‘sealing the business deal’, teaching the young or caring for those who are vulnerable.

For the majority, however, the answer is likely to be much less certain, often simply because their unique talents were not so obvious at an early age.

But all is not lost, as explained in the video below, by best-selling author, speaker, coach and star of movies such as ‘The Secret’ and ‘The Keeper of the Keys’, Jack Canfield.

In the recording, Jack outlines how each of us has a ‘unique life’s purpose’, which may be connected to what we do for a living ... or something altogether different.

He outlines the three simple questions you need to ask yourself to identify your true passion and how the answers you come up with can shape a new vision.

From here, it’s one simple step to start moving towards your life’s purpose and achieving true and lasting fulfillment.

How to Meditate: A Guided Meditation with Jack Canfield

Posted By John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

If you’ve ever tried your hand at meditation and looked on line or at your local book store for help and inspiration, you’ll know there’s shed loads of information out there.

Some is complex. Some is fairly simple. And some is so far ‘out there’ you feel like you need a Master’s Degree in Metaphysics before you can even think about getting started!
Let Jack Canfield show the art of meditation

Yet meditation is the simplest of phenomena and, in fact, an everyday part of our lives, in much the same way as ‘trance’ within the practice of hypnotherapy.

Whenever you get lost in a book or movie, for example, or find yourself day-dreaming as you gaze into the flames of a cozy fire... you’re in trance. And meditation is not dissimilar.

Take a look at the video below – featuring American author, motivational speaker, corporate trainer, and entrepreneur, Jack Canfield – and you’ll see how simple and useful it can be.

You may know Jack from movies such as, ‘The Secret’ or ‘The Keeper of the Keys’, books like the ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ series or his numerous other self-improvement programs.

And if you do, you’ll know he always manages to strip away the confusing and complex to offer straightforward and very practical help in every subject.

Here, he takes you through his own four-part, guided meditation that’s easy to implement, very practical and refreshingly empowering – all in just eight minutes.

Better still, Jack also takes a look at what exactly meditation is, why it’s an important tool for everyone and the huge benefits it can bring to your life.

The entire video’s only 18 minutes long. So take a look. Just click on the link below to go to the original recording.

Stop Using These Affirmations Right Now – with Jack Canfield

Posted by John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

IT’S no secret that the internal dialogue we all have running throughout our waking hours has a decisive effect on our lives.

This is especially true of those thoughts and phrases we tell ourselves over and over and over again.

Author, speaker and success coach, Jack Canfield
So we keep repeating in our minds that we’re clumsy, for example, that we’re useless at a particular task, or that we’re never going to attain a certain desire.

Equally, we might see ourselves as lucky, skilled in a favourite pursuit or even destined for greatness.

In either situation, the end result tends to materialize, if we put enough strength and emotion into our thoughts, coupled with repetition.

Unfortunately, the rushed, hectic and pressured nature of everyday life can cloud the issue, with many people leaning towards the negative.

Which is a perfect reason to check out the video below, with Jack Canfield – author, speaker and star of movies, ‘The Secret’ and ‘The Keeper Of The Keys’ (http://tiny.cc/keeperofkeys).

Among the subjects he covers are:

* The Law of Attraction – How it works and the effects it has on our lives
* Four common affirmations that we should all stop using... NOW
* How to rework what you habitually say to yourself, to change it from negative to positive

The video’s only a few minutes long, but well worth a look. Simply click on the link below to be taken to the original recording:

A Special 'Note from the Universe' - with Mike Dooley

Posted by John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

A friend of mine - a lady called June K Spencer - who's a Reiki Master and a tutor in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) once suggested to me, during a session where she was training me in EFT, that openly admitting you're 'into personal development' is a huge challenge for many people.

I knew exactly what she meant. There's a very real fear, for some of us, that the revelation will bring laughter, ridicule, incredulity, a sense that we're inadequate in some way and thus worthy of pity, along with accusations of being some 'new-age hippy'.

Speaker and author, Mike Dooley
Yet virtually everyone needs a level encouragement to help keep their spirits up and their momentum moving in the right direction - whether it be a kind word from a loved one, a note of appreciation from a boss or something similar - while the right kind of support in a given area of life can be nothing short of invaluable.

Sadly, it often seems in very short supply. Worse still, cynicism appears to rule - not least in the media. There's often one positive and/or heart-warming news story at the end of every bulletin.... although that's about it. As for so-called TV entertainment programs, so many are full of conflict, disaster, failed relationships, murder, intrigue and the like.

I think it was Jack Canfield, of the 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' books, who advised taking a complete break from news reports, newspapers, magazines, the TV and so on for a month and then examining how much better you actually feel. I managed a couple of weeks and it certainly made a difference.

So to the real point of this article, as indicated in the headline.

Fortunately, there are services such as Mike Dooley's 'A Note from the Universe', which sends an uplifting, encouraging and often spookily insightful message to the email inbox of the subscriber, totally free of charge. (Mike, in case you're struggling to place him, is one of the stars of  the movie, 'The Secret' and a prolific author and speaker.)

Anyway, the 'Note' you can read below arrived in my inbox today and it's such a simple and straightforward approach to 'getting what you want out of life', I felt I had to share it. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

And if you're celebrating this weekend, may a wish you and those you love a very Happy and Peaceful Easter. Here's the Note.....

"John, it's not really a matter of feeling worthy of love, friends, health, or wealth. Or of appreciating what you already have. Or even of learning to love yourself. These don't have to come first. You don't have to wear a halo to manifest the changes you want.

It's simply a matter of understanding that if you do your part: visualize, prepare the way, and act "as if", without looking over your shoulder for quick results, what you want must be added unto you... as will the feelings of worthiness, appreciation and loving your most lovable self.

You were pre-qualified,
The Universe."

How to Take Back Complete Control of Your Life and Results - Jack Canfield's Success Tip #1

Posted by John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

IT must be one of the biggest and most frequent questions we ask ourselves when trying to build a better, more satisfying life.

Especially when we see people around us who seem to achieve and obtain everything they want with consummate ease.

So, "How do I take full control of my life and get the results that I really want?"

Well, creator of the 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' series and star of movies such as 'The Secret' – Jack Canfield – has some answers.

And in this, the first of a series of short videos, he presents his first tip for success.

Among the subjects he covers are:

* One of the main reasons people fail to achieve... and it's probably not what you think

* The potential we all have inside of us to create the life we desire and how we can begin to apply it

* What high achievers do differently to most other people

* The three vital faculties that we use – consciously or unconsciously – to shape our life experience, good or bad.

As you would expect from Jack, there's no flowery nonsense or confusing jargon. Just good, plain common sense.

How to accelerate your end result... with Jack Canfield

Posted by John Lee

Jack Canfield of 'The Secret'
ASK, believe and receive. These four words sum up the simple formula of how to use 'The Law of Attraction', as outlined in the global movie phenonenon that was 'The Secret'.

Yet while it's ostensibly a simple concept, the more you study the law and its application, the more confusing it can become, especially when you enter into the realms of quantum physics.

Thankfully, there are people like Jack Canfield, who always manages to bring clarity, simplicity and humor to whatever subject he examines - perhaps because he was once a teacher.

The 7-minute video you can access via the link below is a perfect example and a refreshingly down-to-earth, practical explanation of how to achieve what you desire, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Among the methods and techniques discussed are:

* The Irritation List

* The 101 Goals List

* The Vision Exercise and the 7 categories you MUST consider if you're to achieve total life abundance

Then there's the story of the unhappy millionaire and the four life stages he needed to go through to become truly fulfilled!

Sound unlikely?

The #1 Fastest Way to Eliminate Self-Doubt

By Natalie Ledwell

You CAN eliminate self-doubt
JACK Canfield, Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, John Assaraf...

Since 2011, I've had the privilege of interviewing some of the most inspiring personal growth gurus in the world on my weekly web series, The Inspiration Show…

And one thing I can tell you for sure is that, just like you and me, they ALL have moments where they struggle with self-doubt and negative self-talk.

The fact is that there isn't a single person on earth who hasn't experienced doubt when striving for a specific goal.

As human beings, we all come wired with that little voice in our heads that evaluates what's going on around us and gives us a play-by-play of what we should do or say next…

And this "self talk" can either be your greatest ally, or it can be your biggest enemy.

Much of your self talk is reasonable: 'I better slow down or I'll get a  speeding ticket' or 'I'm really looking forward to having dinner with my friends tonight.'

But let's face it - your self talk can also be pretty negative and defeating, like 'I really don't think I can do it' or 'I don't know why I even bother.'

I'm a firm believer that the quality of your life depends on the quality of the conversations you have with yourself about what's going on around you…

So that said, the fastest way to experience more fun, happiness, love and joy TODAY is to start noticing what it is that you're saying to yourself.

Is your self talk mostly positive? Or negative?

Once you start tuning in to what your inner voice is saying, your next step is to shift it towards the positive as much as you can.

If you'd like to know how to do this, I recommend you watch this short 6-minute episode on how to eliminate your self-doubt - and it's actually a lot faster and easier than you may realize!

To your abundantly fulfilling life,

Natalie Ledwell

Achieve Your Goal: Jack Canfield on Never Giving Up

By John Lee

IF there’s anyone who appreciates the value of persistence, it’s Jack Canfield – co-creator of the smash-hit ‘Chicken Soup…’ series of books.

And when you consider the huge and continued success of the franchise, which started out as a mere dream by the former school teacher, it’s hard to imagine it was ever a struggle.
'Chicken Soup' co-creator Jack Canfield

After all, it’s now a global phenomenon that has been picked up and built upon by other personal development luminaries, such as Marci Shimoff and Lisa Nicholls.

Yet it was certainly no ‘walk in the park’ for Jack and his associates at the very beginning. In fact, given the obstacles they faced, most of us would have quit… and quickly too.

In the short, but surprisingly powerful and memorable video you can access through the link below, he tells the story of getting this wonderful project off the ground.

There’s a great lesson here for everyone, especially those of us who doubt what great things we can achieve if we only have a little faith and persistence.

A fascinating, thought-provoking and, some would probably say, controversial video, in which Jack Canfield of 'Chicken Soup For the Soul' fame interviews relationship counsellor, John Gray - author of the hugely successful book, 'Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus'.

At the end of the recording, which lasts a few minutes, there's also a link to the full, hour-long interview for those who would like to hear Mr Gray talk more about the differences between men and women. And it's well worth a look!

We can all make a difference

As you sit at your desk on a normal working day – whether you love what you do or are less than enamoured with your current means of making a living – do you ever question your situation, as I do? Do you sometimes think to yourself, ‘I could, and probably should, be doing something much more worthwhile – something where I’m really making a difference to the wider world and the welfare of others’?
Since you’re reading this blog, you probably do, unless you’ve already found that calling, in which case, ‘Good on you!’ Really! For myself, I fall into the former category at the moment – and I do mean ‘at the moment’, because change is certainly on the way as I write this. But as I go about my daily life, there are certain sources of inspiration I keep close by to lift me when I need it.
One of these sources is a subscription to website by leading personal development teacher Bob Proctor, which is called ‘Insight of the Day’ (http://www.insightoftheday.com/). Anyhow, from Monday through Thursday, you receive inspirational quotes, to your designated email address, from the likes of Napolean Hill, Dale Carnegie, Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, John Demartini, Bob himself and many, many other very wise and not so famous folk.
Every Friday, you receive an uplifting story, which often recounts how people overcame great odds to achieve success, dealt with difficult circumstances and relationships, made outstanding discoveries and achieved wonderful things in the face of adversity. And every so often there’s a simple tale of how someone just set out to make a real difference in a particular way or place. One such story recently found its way into my in box and so struck me that I decided to share it here.
As you’ll see, it’s by writer and blogger Sameer Vasta, and has a wider message for us all to consider when we’re sitting at our desk, pondering our current situation. Click on the blue hyperlink and you’ll also be taken to a website where you can find out more about the main subject. Enjoy!
Man grows 1,360-acre forest in India...by himself
A man in India single-handedly planted an entire forest, proving that one person really can make a large difference.
You always hear that one person can make a large difference in the world. Today, we’ve got a story that proves that saying.  When he was a teenager in Northern India’s Assam region about 30 years ago, Jadav “Molai” Payeng began planting seeds in a sandbar near his birthplace.
A few years later, he moved into the area and turned the seed-planting and tree-nurturing into his life’s work, planting seeds and helping them grow over a wide area that was initially left for desolate.
In the past 30 years, his seed-planting endeavors have resulted in a massive, 1,360-acre jungle in Assam, a forest ecosystem that has left an incredible mark on the Indian landscape and stands as a testament to Payeng’s dedication.
Initially, the forest department told Payeng that trees could not grow in that area. He was not dissuaded; instead he dedicated himself to the task of nurturing the forest, and his dedication has produced results.
The Molai woods, in addition to being covered with lush greenery, is now home to a whole host of creatures big and small, including birds, deer, rhinos, tigers, and elephants. Jadav “Molai” Payeng is a hero to those animals, to the ecosystem in the area, and to conservationists across India.
But he is also a hero to us, people living oceans away who don’t necessarily work in forestry or in the environment industry.
Payeng is a hero because he has proven that with commitment, blood, sweat, knowledge, and dedication to making a difference, one person can truly make a difference, and a large difference, to the world.
It’s easy to discount the impact that we can have on the people and places around us. It’s easy to feel insignificant when faced with the enormity of the issues that surround us. But it’s important to remember that our actions, no matter how small they may be, make a difference.
Whether it’s bringing a smile to someone’s day or revitalizing a forest ecosystem, the little acts of kindness and good have enormous impact. Our small actions may not necessarily lead to a forest and safe haven for animals, but they have the potential to grow and flourish all the same.

The Power of Letting Go

If you’re one of those people who’s seen the much talked-about movie, ‘The Secret’ perhaps – like me – more times than you could actually admit without feeling a tad embarrassed, there are probably particular scenes, anecdotes and ideas that stick in your mind.
(Briefly, in case you’re unfamiliar with what might be described as the quintessential ‘self-help’ movie, its main focus is to outline and explain the Law Of Attraction, which essentially states that what you think and, more importantly, feel  about on a regular basis becomes your reality.)
Well, one of the stories that always resonates with me is that of Jack Canfield – one of the people behind the ‘Chicken Soup for The Soul’ series of books – who relates how he has brought wealth, a beautiful home and many wonderful experiences into his life using the Law Of Attraction.
His method, outlined very roughly here, involves deciding what he wants, believing he can have it, believing that he’s worthy of it and then spending a short period of time every day, eyes closed, imagining that he’s already achieved the goal, with real emotion and gratitude. Then he just carries on with his day.
Having tried this myself, I have to say – again probably like a lot of people – my results have been mixed and often less than satisfactory. Or at least that was the case until I really understood the Power of Letting Go, which Jack does include in his description, in the sense of simply carrying on with his day.
Emotional detachment, that’s the way
But the point was only hammered home to me after I’d studied certain written materials by a couple of his fellow Personal Development leading lights – Dr Robert Anthony and Dr Joe Vitale, who’s also a star of ‘The Secret’.
In his best-selling book ‘The Attractor Factor’, Joe outlines five steps to manifesting what you desire in your life. I won’t spoil the surprise here – go get the book as it’s a great read – suffice to say the final step involves ‘letting go,’ or becoming emotionally detached from what you’re trying to achieve.
Apparently, if you find yourself in desperate need of what you claim to be trying to manifest, your emotion is one of scarcity – in other words you’re focusing on the fact that you don’t have it, rather than the experience of already having achieved your goal. So you’re just pushing the desired outcome further away.
Of course, maintaining detachment is easier said than done, but it certainly works. A very simple example from own experience involves the retirement of a colleague and a party being organised on his behalf. As he was a long-standing member of the team, we wanted to invite staff who had long since left the business.
Gratitude and a positive vibration
One name that came up was that of ‘Rocket Ron’ – he was crazy about motorcycles, you see – and no-one had seen him for over a year. Efforts were made to get in contact with him via one or two telephone numbers. Someone even stopped by his last-known address to see if he was still there, but to no avail.
I had known Ron a little through the day-to-day activities of the newspaper where we worked at that time – me as a writer, Ron in the photographic department – and brought to mind both his face and some of the conversations we’d had, laughing to myself about some of the more comical exchanges.
Then I just carried on with my work, without giving the matter any further thought…. or ‘letting go’, if you will. After all, though it would be nice to have Ron at the farewell get together for one of our soon-to-be former colleagues, it wasn’t that big a deal and it seemed we could do nothing about it anyhow.
That evening, I stopped off at the supermarket on my way home – a massive retail outlet, not a small local store. And yes, you guessed it, as I was making my way down one of the aisles, there was the man himself and I was able to invite him to the party.
It’s the kind of experience we can all relate to. You think about someone you haven’t heard from in a long time and someone suddenly mentions their name to you or they call you out of the blue. Some would call it pure coincidence, yet the latest studies in Quantum Physics are suggesting that we all really do play a part in creating our own universe at an energetic level.
So how do you achieve and maintain the level of detachment needed for manifestation? I guess it just takes practice, though one way I’ve found of doing so is to simply feel grateful for something – anything – in my life, once I’ve focused on my goal. This takes my thoughts away from the desire, while keeping me in a positive frame of mind, or ‘vibration’, if you like.
Still, haven’t got it down to a fine art, but I’m getting there!
