Mastering Manifestation

By Chris Atley

I definitely believe what we give out we get back. If we give out a positive, happy vibe, we will get more back to feel positive and happy about in our lives.

If we give out a stressed-out, overwhelmed energy, we will get more back to feel stressed-out and overwhelmed about.

Have you 'Mastered Manifestation'?
From a law of attraction/vibration perspective – we put out an energy (positive or negative), and we therefore receive more opportunities that are either positive or negative (depending on what we put out).

I have found that with the law of attraction, it’s not so much that we attract more positive or negative circumstances/opportunities, etc., it’s that we see more positive or negative circumstances/opportunities, etc.

What we want is always there for us; we just don’t always see it because we’re operating at a lower more negative – as some say – vibration.

I prefer heavier. Picture a denser, thicker energy, as opposed to a lighter energy. Negative thoughts carry a heavy energy.

So what does this mean for business?

Well, say you have a financial goal you want to hit over the next 6 months.

The way to make it happen is already there for you and your vibration needs to match each next step so that you can see it.

Feelings of unworthiness or ‘not good enough’ will block you from seeing it.

It’s literally like turning on a light switch where you can suddenly see a world full of opportunities that are fun and exciting!

What’s interesting is a lot of my clients end up seeing opportunities to take them to the next level that were literally right there the entire time, but they didn’t feel good enough to notice them.

It’s such a great shift to witness.

I want to take this concept a step further though...

A lot of people get hung up on what they’re creating and why.

So for example, if something someone perceives as “bad” happening in their lives, they start to judge themselves and wonder why they're creating it. Why is that showing-up?

This is for the people who recognize they are responsible for everything showing up in their lives – good or bad – and who are working on taking control of their emotions and what they are in fact creating, so that they can create a life they love.

The revelation though, is that they’re not creating anything good or bad. It just is.

It’s us that assign a positive or negative value on things that happen. We’re taught through family, cultural and societal belief systems on what is right and wrong.

We have assigned the value and created the rules. Our belief systems then dictate our perception. Our perception creates our thoughts and therefore our feelings about people/circumstances/events.

So what we’re really projecting and getting back is the thought about something, not the actual circumstance.

Stuff is going to happen in life and business. It just will. So the whole “Mastering of the law of attraction” thing, is not about creating the “Perfectly positive” life.

Whatever that is anyway.

It’s about changing how we think and therefore feel about these situations.

If we’re feeling negative, the most “positive” event could occur and we would find everything wrong with it.

On the flip side, if we’re feeling positive, we can see the blessings and have gratitude instead for the exact same event.

The event didn’t change, we did. So it’s really not about what we’re creating, it’s about how we’re seeing it.

We have a choice with everything that shows-up – we can react or respond, with sometimes the best response being no response at all (which involves being secure and confident with who we are).

The more we “let go” of our attachment (rules and expectations), to these events/people/circumstances, the more we can neutralize our emotion.

We therefore give out peace and we see more and more peace around us regardless of what is happening in our environments. Even on the shittiest of days.

The truth being we can either respond with love and create feelings of expansion, or we can project fear and shrink into littleness.

This in turn will dictate if we see more love or more fear in our lives.

If we truly believe we are bigger then our circumstances – that there’s more to this world beyond what we can see, and that we truly are unlimited eternal beings – we can let go a heck of a lot easier and realize most of this stuff doesn’t matter at the end of the day

Namaste xo

Daily Habits of Successful People – with Brian Tracy

Posted by John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

‘It’s all about routine’. That’s the sub-text of this excellent video by entrepreneur, professional speaker, success expert and best-selling author, Brian Tracy.

Personal development expert, Brian Tracy
And Brian’s well-qualified to comment as someone who pre-dates, by quite a few years, the rise in popularity of concepts such as the ‘Law of Attraction’ and ‘Success Manifestation’.

Yet while many more recent commentators, specialists and ‘gurus’ seem to complicate what are already fairly esoteric ideas, he remains refreshingly clear, practical and down-to-earth.

In this five-minute video, he looks at the role of ‘habits’ in our everyday lives and what we can do to form useful ones, while ridding ourselves of those that are less helpful.

As the title suggests, Brian also offers six of the best to adopt for a healthier, more fulfilling and more successful life – taken from his book, ‘Million Dollar Habits’.

There’s a link, too, that enables you to download, for free, a chapter from another of his works entitled, ‘No Excuses! The Power of Self-Discipline’.

It’s well worth a look. Simply click on the link below to be taken to the original recording:

The Power of Visualization... and 6 Free Mind Movies

By John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

THERE can be no-one in the modern world who knows more about the Law of Attraction, its undeniable impact on our lives and its application than Bob Proctor.

After all, he's studied the subject for over 50 years, being mentored for a number of years by the legendary Earl Nightingale, and has used what he learned to achieve phenomenal success.

Bob and Natalie discuss the power of visualization
Bob's quest to help others do likewise has seen him pen some of the most influential books of their genre and appear in global hit movies such as 'The Secret', enabling him to pass on his wisdom to people around the world.

Two such people are Natalie and Glen Ledwell - the Australian entrpreneurs behind the 'Mind Movies' visualization software, which counts numerous personal development luminaries among its fans.

In the video you can access below, Natalie and Glen begin to tell their story of how they developed the software, along with their personal battles to harness the power of visualization.

This is no 'sob story', by the way, and one with which many success-driven people will surely identify. Which brings us back to Bob Proctor.

In the second half of the video, he talks to Natalie about the massive importance of visualization in shaping our lives. Among the subjects he covers are:

* Why so many of us fail to realize our dreams simply because we have the wrong focus
* How we're all 'co-creators' in the manifestation process
* Why knowing the 'How' is not important and why it will actually get you nowhere
* Why emotion is vital
* The influence of our personal paradigm and why it needs to be shifted if we want to make changes
* Why there are really no accidents or coincidences

It's fascinating stuff, while Bob reveals himself to be a staunch supporter of Mind Movies.

Better still, if you're not familiar with them yourself, there's a link to 6 pre-made Mind Movies, which are completely free to download.

They cover Wealth Abundance, Vibrant Health, Courage and Confidence, Loving and Appreciating Myself, Finding Inner Peace, and Attracting Friends and A Great Social Life.

Shelve Procrastination Once and for All - Five Behaviors to Control and Vanquish This Devil

By Stuart Bazga

AT some time or other we've all done it. We postponed our physical exercise routine till tomorrow; we continuously put off concluding that assignment or beginning that company.

Laziness is the mom of all demons and can literally stop you in your tracks from achieving all that you desire.

Below are my 5 effective procedures you could use to slay this titan called procrastination.

1. Do it now!
Sound familiar?

Hold your breath and hop straight in! Putting things off until the last minute is a peccadillo and like all practices is implanted in our subconscious mind and difficult to damage.

It seems like the typical thing to do and we simply continue along our path. To complete a job quickly might even really feel strange or like a forced activity.

When your employer offers you an activity, or when your customers or consumers demand your knowledge, do it immediately!

You not only look efficient to others, the feeling that the work is done, is complete before the deadline, will certainly be one of well-being and appreciation

How would this efficiency look to your clients when you ask for a referral or to your boss when income reviews are nearing? I would assume, "Great".

2. Take infant steps

Often we hesitate due to the fact that the task might be frightening to us. Probably we have no possible hint on where to begin.

In these cases, it is fairly fine to take it one action or step at a time.

For instance, let's say you are preparing a business strategy and for the 5th time today, you've activated the COMPUTER and reviewed the blank screen.

Or you've merely remembered you have to do some more analysis previously before you begin... you're still not prepared.

My friend you ARE ready.

You simply have to break down the job in to smaller items and deal with each bit independently.

Make each job a specific job and after the conclusion of each one, commemorate and recognize your achievement.

Soon you'll be completed and have no hint as to why you were putting it off to begin with!

3. Vision the perfect

Ah! I love this one. I utilize the Law of Attraction with my clients to have them quickly and easily achieve their desires and needs and basically, their vision.

As soon as you know that you are in fact procrastinating, making a vision of you attaining that plan is extremely helpful.

When you produce a vision you write in the present tense... as if you have currently achieved your goal or if you are in the procedure of completing it.

For example, let's go back to the business strategy. Your vision might look something similar to this.

"I am so grateful that I have actually finished all the research I require for my business strategy. I am locating the info effortlessly using the internet.

"People that have actually composed business strategies are supplying me guidance that allows me to create an exciting strategy that I resonate with. As I compose, the words come to me effortlessly... "

In having a vision and concentrating on it daily, the universal laws specify that people, things and processes will start to take place in your life that will certainly permit you to attract that vision.

4. Forget it

That's right. Forget it!

Why oblige the problem? If you have actually been 'dragging your feet' on something for a lengthy time, it could all be advantageous.

Something, somewhere is attempting to tell you something. That something is your instinct and it is usually right!

Think about something that you have been delaying time and time again. What are the factors that you have to complete this activity in the first place?

Does an individual wish you to do this? What is THEIR agenda? Exactly what are YOUR reasons for this prolonged delay?

I have discovered that 99 per cent of the time I put off doing something, I am thankful that I did! Overlooking a job after a very long time of procrastination is nevertheless often a last resort.

5. Get a Support Team

Do you postpone activities because you really feel that they are excessively large and complex for you to manage alone? Or from the time when you need assistance?

Be sincere with yourself. "No one man is an island".

Request help! There are lots of resources available that can offer you help with all you need to perform your task.

If you're a solo-professional and you delayed addressing emails, do not answer them yourself. Employ an aide, discover some college students that desire the experience, find a relative to assist.

Putting things off on life-altering tasks could be as a result of worry of the unknown. Join a mastermind team with other like-mind professionals, discover a mentor, join a support group.

You don't need to do it all by yourself. Merely make certain that to kick this practice; you do what feels good to you in whatever technique you decide on.

You'll unquestionably vanquish the devil that is procrastination.

How to Use Visualization to Get What You Want

By Maria McMahon, BSc

WHAT do you really want in your life? The simple mindset change you can make to immediately start heading towards the life of your dreams - in minutes!

Want wealth? Health? A better job? Better relationships? Not many people know this but the first thing you must do is determine exactly what it is you DO want.

See it in your mind.... and make it a reality
Most people know what they DON'T want. Eg, 'I don't want to be broke', 'I don't want to be alone', 'I don't want to be fat', 'I don't want to be miserable', etc etc.

If you listen to your 'self-talk', chances are you are saying 'I don't want... ' whatever it is dozens, if not hundreds, of  times a day.

What this kind of self-talk does is send constant reinforcement to your subconscious mind about everything you do NOT want.

And according to the Universal Law of Attraction, what you think about and focus on is what the Universe sends back to you.

What your subconscious understands in your self-talk is those words that carry emotion with them. Debt. Loneliness. Fat. Misery. It doesn't get the 'I don't want' bit at all!

What can you do to change this and bring more of the great things you desire into your life? Simple!

Start by writing down a list of the top 5 things you DO want in your life. Be specific. Don't say: "I want to be rich."

How much do you want to have, exactly? $100,000? $500,000? $1,000,000? Pin it down.

Then write it as if you already have it. Eg: I have X $ in the bank. I have a wonderful new partner. I'm slim. I'm happy.

Next, close your eyes and focus on what you've chosen. Visualize it! Make it gorgeous, make your heart pound with excitement at the thought of being, doing or having these things.

Imagine them as reality in your life. See them in your mind's eye in glorious color, feel the emotions you'd feel when you have them, hear what people are saying to you.

Stay with this and really get into it. Give it everything you've got.

Why? Because your subconscious mind does NOT know the difference between what's real and what's imagined. This is scientific fact.

So imagining like this makes your subconscious start to think it's real.

The more you do this, the quicker your new desires will be conveyed to the Universe and the process of their becoming a reality in your life will get underway.

Don't worry for now about the mechanics of HOW you are going to achieve this. When you've had your fill of these gorgeous new things as reality in your life, open your eyes.

Make a decision NOW that you will practice this visualization technique every single time you have a negative self-thought.

Switch your mind back to this glorious new life you have started planning for yourself. You can do this in seconds. Don't underestimate the power of this exercise.

You Have Nothing To Worry About - Dr Robert Anthony

By John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

If you're at all familiar the writings of US-based personal development specialist Dr Robert Anthony, you'll know that he always imparts words of wisdom, clarity and practicality.

Manifestation, Conscious Creation and the Law of Attraction are areas of particular expertise for the man who's well-known for turning down the chance to appear in 'The Secret', in my view.

Dr Robert Anthony
Plus, he offers some wonderfully enlightening and encouraging advice on all aspects of the mundane - the kind of everyday issues we all encounter in life.

The passage below is certainly no different, which is why I felt I wanted to share it. I hope you enjoy it and find it beneficial.

"Life is here to serve you, not put obstacles in your way. Everything you desire will show up or not show up in response to your vibration.

And if something else shows itself to you that you prefer, life can give you that too. You're calling your own shots. The key is to feel good no matter what...

Tell the story the way you want it to be.

Sometimes we worry because what we want requires so much of our attention, or so much is happening in our lives that it is hard to hold a stable position. But you can. Just keep telling yourself:

'I am in charge here. I am in charge of my life. I am in charge of what comes. And more importantly, I am in charge of how I FEEL.'

When it comes to money, the reason most people want a lot of it is because of fear (which dams up the stream).

There is nothing wrong with having money, but the big mistake is asking for the security that comes from promises of others.

You want your security to come through your awareness of knowing how the laws of the universe
work.

You know how to focus on what you desire and you know how this focus will always bring you the good things in life, including money.

Don't try to see so far down the road. Don't demand that promises be made by others to give you the security you need.

This is the thing that makes the difference between someone who can stand in an attitude of belief and trust and someone who cannot.

You have a lot of evidence in your life that supports the power of your focus. Don't try to figure it all out at once. Just feel more appreciation for what you have already and more will come to you.

Here is one of my favorite affirmations. Use this every time you feel you need to know the outcome of any situation.

'I figure it out as I go. I don't need to know, I figure it out as I go'.

With that affirmation, say to yourself, 'The universe is yielding to me. Good things are lined up for me. All good things come to me.

'There is not a reason in the world for me to worry. When I worry it is nothing more than old patterns of thought that have nothing to do with my ability to create what I desire.

'I have nothing to worry about. Everything comes to me at the right time in the right way. I figure it out as I go. I don't need to know, I figure it out as I go'.

Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation that you are making progress - IF YOU LOOK FOR IT! No matter how large or small, please record it in your Evidence Journal.

It will only take a few moments and will AUTOMATICALLY put you in the Flow.

Truly Caring for Your Success!
Dr. Robert Anthony"

The #1 Key to Manifesting - with Gabrielle Bernstein

By John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

MANIFESTING the life that you truly desire is one of the biggest themes in the world of self-help, personal development, personal growth or however you like to characterize it.

Author, speaker and TV regular, Gabrielle Bernstein
Much of this, in recent times, has been down to the success of movies such as 'The Secret', which brought the 'Law of Attraction' to a wider and more diverse audience than ever before.

Given the possibilities that it opened up, people the world over understandably embraced the notion of 'manifestation' whole-heartedly.

So why is that so many remain frustrated in their efforts to 'attract' their ideal life? After all, it's supposed to be a pretty simple concept.

And it's one that's explained in refreshingly 'stripped back' terms in the video below by writer, speaker and US TV regular, Gabrielle Bernstein.

The author of bestsellers such as 'Spirit Junkie' and 'Add More ~ing to Your Life', plus the newly-published 'Miracles Now' gives her personal view.

She talks about the importance of clarity and 'letting go'. And she offers her '#1 Key to Manifesting' in 3 simple steps.

The recording is just a few minutes long. But it contains some great information. Take a look.

Overcoming Anxiety, Fear and Panic - with John Assaraf

Posted by John Lee of YourBestYouEver.net

THINK of personal development luminaries like John Assaraf and it's easy to imagine they lead a pretty rarefied existence, full of joy, peace, calm and prosperity.

Overcome negative emotions with John Assaraf
After all, haven't they got all 'manifestation', 'abundance' and 'Law of Attraction' methodologies down pat?

Of course, he obviously experiences the same ups and downs, highs and lows, and positive and negative emotions as anyone else.

The difference, maybe, is how great teachers, such as John, deal with these events. And the video you can access below illustrates the point perfectly.

As the title suggests, it's all about overcoming any kind of negative emotion, of the sort that inevitably affect all of us from time to time.

In the video, the star of 'The Secret' recounts a personal situation where he, himself, suffered huge fear and panic.

Better still, he offers 4 quick, easy and highly-effective steps we can all take to get ourselves back on an even keel. It's only around six minutes long and well worth a look.

How to accelerate your end result... with Jack Canfield

Posted by John Lee

Jack Canfield of 'The Secret'
ASK, believe and receive. These four words sum up the simple formula of how to use 'The Law of Attraction', as outlined in the global movie phenonenon that was 'The Secret'.

Yet while it's ostensibly a simple concept, the more you study the law and its application, the more confusing it can become, especially when you enter into the realms of quantum physics.

Thankfully, there are people like Jack Canfield, who always manages to bring clarity, simplicity and humor to whatever subject he examines - perhaps because he was once a teacher.

The 7-minute video you can access via the link below is a perfect example and a refreshingly down-to-earth, practical explanation of how to achieve what you desire, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Among the methods and techniques discussed are:

* The Irritation List

* The 101 Goals List

* The Vision Exercise and the 7 categories you MUST consider if you're to achieve total life abundance

Then there's the story of the unhappy millionaire and the four life stages he needed to go through to become truly fulfilled!

Sound unlikely?

Well, take a look at the video by clicking on the link below:

The 7 Universal Laws of Successful Manifestation

By John Lee

SO you’ve watched the movie, ‘The Secret’, perhaps many times over.

You’ve noted down the three-step formula outlined within it and have diligently put it into practice.

But nothing has really happened. Sadly, the marvellous dream you’d formulated in your mind for the life you truly desire seems as far away as ever.

The temptation, when this happens, is quite naturally to wonder whether the Law of Attraction really works or whether it works for some people but not others.
LOA expert Christy Whitman

If you’re really frustrated, you might well dismiss the entire concept as nothing but a bunch of ‘new-age hooey’! And who could blame you?

But maybe there’s still something in the back of your mind that keeps telling you there’s more to this ‘manifestation thing’ than you already know.

Well, you’d be absolutely right! The Law of Attraction - which is the central and dominant theme of ‘The Secret’ - is just one of 7 Universal Laws.

And they’re all explained in refreshingly simple and easy to understand ways in the excellent video you can access below, by a lady called Christy Whitman.

Now when you hear her back story, you’ll know she knows her stuff!

She was once $60,000 in debt, overweight, unhappy, unemployed and lurching from one disastrous relationship to another.

Fast forward to the present and she has a multi-million-dollar company, a loving husband and two amazing sons, and leads a life that couldn’t be more different.

How did she do it? Well, you’ll just have to click on the link below! And it will be well worth it, too!

Why Ignorance Is Bliss (Or Can Be)

By Laura Gevanter

My college friend Ron and I used to say, "It's not easy being us". We were (still are) cerebral, analytical and very self-aware. We would spend way too much time going over "why" this happened and what it all meant. We were exhausted. We used to joke how much easier life was for people who were "simple".

They didn't know what they were missing, after all. How easy it would be to go through life not second-guessing or allowing the committee in our heads to consume hours at a time trying to make a decision. We envisioned them sitting around a boardroom where each member represented different aspects of an argument as to whether we should do something or not.

It was funny, but only to a point. Of course, that was long before I became aware of the Law of Attraction and exactly what we were doing, albeit unconsciously. We were not relying on what felt right to us, but what we could reason was the best decision. Life seemed harder then. If we just had simple minds, life would be easy. Or, if we just knew less.

Ignorance really can be bliss
"Lack of knowledge results in happiness" - Wikipedia definition under "ignorance is bliss".

I often wonder what life would be like if we had limited access to the information that comes into our daily lives. Imagine if we completely stopped watching or reading the news, as many of us have. Does it really matter to us what is happening on Wall Street if we set our own intentions for our successful business?

We would not entertain thoughts that customers or clients wouldn't show up because they were fearful about spending money. We believe that prosperity and abundance is all around us so of course they could afford us! It is not only how this information affects us consciously (we watch violence on the news and think the world is a dangerous place) but even more significant is how it affects us unconsciously.

We take in all these images that we don't desire in our experience and yet we are constantly imprinting them in our minds. Our brains cannot distinguish whether something is real (you are actually witnessing this happening) or it is created in a movie with stunts. These images cause an internal reaction, which in turn creates a vibration of fear, lack or scarcity.

We then begin to notice more and more of it as now it has been activated. This is why it's so important to consciously choose what we allow our senses to be exposed to. Daily dose of news watching the crumbling financial markets, images of polluted waters or acts of violence do not serve us in any way.

"Usually once the whole truth is revealed you realize you were happier being clueless." - Urban Dictionary.

Let's take it one step further and go out on a limb. A person goes to a doctor for a check-up and the doctor finds something he doesn't like and wants tests done. Might be cancer. The results come back and they are not good. The doctor tells you at best you have 6-9 months to live. Panic sets in and all you can focus on is this deadly time bomb growing in your body.

I've imagined what the world would be like with LOA savvy doctors. Instead of getting the I-don't-like-the-looks-of-this response upon reviewing a spot on an x-ray and then orders more tests only to give you the news that you have an expiration date in the not too distant future, it sounds more like this:

"I see something, but it's no big deal. Nothing to worry about. I want to give you some suggestions to maximize your health." I wonder to what extent the recovery rate would climb of so-called incurable illnesses would be?

I understand all about ethics, morals and the responsibility of doctors, so I am not suggesting health care professionals lie to their patients, but it's interesting to explore what might happen if we were told that we are in over-all good health and just as a precaution they would like us to do some things to maximize our health?

"My doctors told me I would never walk again. My mother told me I would. I believed my mother." - Wilma Rudolph 1940-1994, Olympic Gold Medalist.

As deliberate creators we know that what we give our focus and attention to gets bigger and we attract more of that into our experience. By focusing on a diagnosis of illness we are not giving our attention to wellness. What also comes into play here is all of the years of accumulated information and knowledge that we have received since childhood that is embedded into our subconscious.

Many times these become our default thoughts. For example: If someone was raised to believe that money is hard to get and even harder to hold onto, following the stock market or reading the woes in the Financial Times is going to give them evidence to support those beliefs.

The vibration of "money is scarce" has been activated and will be in your experience. The physical world is a wonderful (and accurate) reflection of our inner vibration. If we are experiencing or creating financial abundance in our lives, any information to the contrary will not support us. It may bring up feelings of doubt and fear and will surely kink up that easy financial flow vibe.

Information serves us if it's in alignment with what we desire. Having more knowledge does not always make a decision easier as it still comes down to what feels best. We can read up on all the latest dietary and health trends but will finding out our favorite food is "bad" for us really help us if it is something that brings us pleasure when overall we practice self-love and take care of our bodies?

We know we have control over what we experience in our lives but would our job be easier if we were more selective about the information we allowed into our consciousness? We are a nation of information junkies with the underlying thought that more is always better. But does this always serve us? There is something to be said for letting our imagination give us all the information we need to create the life we want. Ignorance can in fact, be bliss.

The Art Of Manifesting Our Dreams

By Dawn Gluskin

Ever wonder why some people seem to walk around with a dark cloud hovering over them and others appear to bring their own sunshine wherever they go?

While one group tends to be generally unhappy, finds things to complain about, and nothing seems to go their way, the other group can walk the exact same earth finding gratitude in everything around them, keeping up a positive outlook and easily creating the lives they want.

Entrepreneur, speaker and mom - Dawn Gluskin
In both cases, these individuals are very much creating their own destiny as the law of attraction is at work with the basic principle, 'Like attracts like'. Simply put  if you focus on positive things, you will get positive results. If you focus on negative things, you're going to attract negative results.
Don't get me wrong. You can't just say, "I want a million dollars", focus all of your attention on that desire and then voila  instant millionaire. There's more to it than that. Actual hard work, for one thing! But, there is a spiritual element to it as well. Sometimes the universe has other plans for us, or we just aren't ready to receive yet. This phenomenon is also well-documented in science with the placebo effect.

I can personally attest to the power of purposefully attracting and manifesting. I have somewhat honed this skill over the years out of pure necessity. Having multiple business and social ventures of my own as well as being a mother to a young child with another one on the way, I have been forced to adopt a very Yoda-like mindset in my daily routine  "Do or do not. There is no try".

Having many people rely on you for their livelihood and wanting to be there for them is surefire motivation to find a way to get things done. From scoring national press coverage and columnist spots for my businesses, to generating revenues in a tough economy and competitive marketplace, to just making sure my family gets a healthy dinner at night and mama bear doesn't totally burn out in the process are all major accomplishments that I have purposefully manifested over recent years.

Reflecting back on these, I have come to realize there are some basic principles involved and would like to share with the intention of helping others get a little closer to their best potential self!

Tips on Allowing the Law of Attraction to Work for You:

* Is it meant to be? Use your inner light as a guide. The musical key of your life's symphony must be in harmony with the desire you wish to manifest. In other words, there needs to be a strong connection with what you want and what you're destined for. I have had plenty of "pouty" moments in my days after working so hard for something and coming up short in the end.

But after the fact, I always came to realize that there was a reason something didn't happen exactly how or when I wanted it to. Don't let this stop you from trying, though, as you miss 100 percent of the shots you never take! You just have to trust your gut and have faith in your instincts, which will become stronger the more you become self-aware.

A meditation practice also helps bring more insight. Some good questions to ask  Is this desire in line with my life's passion and purpose? Is my intention positive and for the greater good of many and not just rooted in self-interest? If the answers are "yes" and something in your gut is telling you to go for it, then chances are you're on the right path. Just remember to hold ever-so-loosely to your desires, as too strong of an attachment will likely bring disappointment and suffering.
    * Hold powerful visions. Now that you've identified your desires and they feel intuitively right Imagine yourself as actually having achieved your dream already. In this visualization, really see and believe it. Incorporate all of the senses: How does it feel, smell, tastes and sound?

Think about all of the important aspects of your life and what they look like when this happens. What were some of details that surrounded getting there? Writing out your vision story is a very productive and powerful tool as it helps to make your dreams seem more real, brings your vision into focus in your present situation and triggers your subconscious into action.

    * Identify blocks and fears... and believe! You have to really believe in yourself and your vision. It's not a matter of if you can, but when you can. Self-doubt is a form of negative thinking that will actually prevent your dreams from manifesting. Believing is receiving!

The more you resonate with your fears, the more likely you will make them come true instead of allowing your real desires to manifest. For example, if you have a fear of public speaking and focus on all the things that could possibly go wrong before your speech don't be surprised if you fall flat on your face when you get on stage for your big moment. Literally!

To avoid this, try noticing any internal resistance or self-doubt that comes up when you think about your desire and realize that both fears and desires exist only in the mind. It is best to identify any fears or roadblocks as soon as possible so you can accept them and move forward despite them. If the little voice of self-doubt in your mind is too loud to allow you to move forward or you are not sure what is holding you back, consider working with a business or life coach to help you work through it.

    * You've got to work! You've set a positive intention; now focus your energy on its manifestation for the highest good. It's not magic, though. If you want it bad enough, you'll need to roll up your sleeves and put in the time and effort to make it happen. The more systematic you are in the execution stage, the better results you will see.

Start setting goals and creating new daily habits to help inch you towards making your vision story a reality. Have an accountability system in place whether to yourself, friends and family, or to a coach. Remember to celebrate all of your small successes along the way. Having a vision is a great start and often referring back to it is very powerful.

However, remember, "Vision without execution is hallucination." Thomas Edison. Work it!

    * Trust and allow. Don't get tripped up in your wants and desires. Have faith and confidence that if/when it is meant to happen, that it will. Keep your eyes and mind open for clues in the universe that will tell you if you are on the right path, or if you might need to tweak your vision slightly (or vastly, even!).

Remain living in the 'now', while you ever-so-loosely and delicately hold onto your dreams and allow them to unfold as they are meant to. If you are totally focused on what you want for your future, then you are focused on manifesting more of what you don't have. Trust and allow that things will play out as they are supposed to while you gently help to guide things along.

There is perfection in everything that happens along the way. Enjoy the journey!

    Dealing With Negative People

With John Lee and Natalie Ledwell

If you're genuinely trying to live a more positive and fulfilling life  the kind of life you truly want one of the most challenging factors or influences that you have to overcome is negative people.

With a few simple words, they can dissolve your enthusiasm, knock your confidence and install doubt in your mind. Worse still, they can have you thinking and speaking the way they do.

And we all know such people – often they're friends, family and partners. They're not bad people and they don't mean to bring us down. In fact, they only have our best interests at heart.

Or at least they think they do.

But they're operating from a different place and have a different frame of mind that they probably learned years ago and keeps them locked in a certain way of thinking. A limited way of thinking.

So how do you 'cope' with these people? How do you co-exist without them affecting your attitude and deflecting you from your chosen path?

Well, Natalie Ledwell, of the excellent Mind Movies team, has some great advice in this free video. It's just a few minutes long. Click the link below and you'll be taken to the original recording.

Can We Really Change Those Limiting Beliefs?

‘Nine out of 10 people will die rather than change. That’s how difficult change is. So you can’t change people. Change yourself!’ – Leading US motivational speaker, Les Brown.
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog, which is all about personal development in its many forms.
As a copywriter and journalist, with over 20 years’ experience in this highly varied field, I’m fascinated by the different methodologies on offer and passionate about helping others to achieve their goals and fulfil their life’s potential.
The above quotation was made in a film called’ ‘Beyond The Secret,’ which I guess is essentially the follow-up to ‘The Secret’ – the worldwide smash attributed by many with bringing the Law of Attraction to a mass global audience.
The Secret and the Law of Attraction
In case you haven’t seen ‘The Secret’, it features leading figures within philosophy, quantum physics, medicine and personal development giving their views and talking about their experiences with the Law of Attraction, which basically states that, ‘You attract into your life what you think about and focus on with feeling on a regular and consistent basis’, whether it be good or bad.
While this stylish and very well-made film is an excellent introduction to the Law of Attraction, it is very much an introduction – a great starting point for anyone wanting to study further. ‘Beyond The Secret’, to my mind, continues very much in the same vein and is well worth watching over and over, as I have done.
Which brings me to the above quotation. It always stands out for me, partly because Les Brown is an awesome speaker and has a real sense of fun, but more so because it strikes me as so extreme. Would people really rather die than change?
Probably not, if those really were the only two choices. Yet there’s no denying that major change can be a serious uphill struggle. Ask anyone who’s ever tried to quit smoking, lose weight, get out of a destructive relationship, embark on a new career and so on.
Why the heck is change so tough?
So why do we find it so hard to alter our behaviour, adopt new habits and achieve new goals, especially when there’s so much to gain once we’re successful? Well, when you break it all right down, it’s about our beliefs, which combine to give us our view of the world and dictate to us what we can be, do and have – unless we manage to change them.
These beliefs – collectively known as our ‘paradigm’ – begin to form when we’re children, primarily from birth until the age of six or seven, according to the experts, at a time when our brain waves are at their most receptive to new ideas and concepts. In other words, before we’ve developed a capacity for independent judgement.
What we’re told by ‘authority’ figures such as parents and teachers during this phase begins to colour our world and create our beliefs. What we receive is not always the most positive input, not least because those ‘authority’ figures have beliefs of their own, which may or may not be beneficial.
Can I ever hope to get what I want?
So we grow up thinking things like, ‘I’m a shy  person’,  ‘I’m not good academically’, ‘I’ll never be rich’, ‘Having money’s a bad thing’.  And the more we repeat these statements in our minds, the stronger they become, ultimately developing into limiting beliefs.
As an adult, we can rationalise these beliefs as inaccurate, using our logical conscious mind. The trouble is, the beliefs themselves reside in the much bigger and deeper part of our mind – the subconscious, which is the real powerhouse, containing all our memories and experiences, and which doesn’t judge or evaluate.
Unfortunately, we don’t have immediate and easy access to this part of our mind, which makes changing and ‘re-writing’ or ‘re-programing’ these beliefs a real challenge. Some people try to use affirmations – positive statements made over and over on a regular basis – as a way to make the change, while hypnotherapy relaxes the conscious mind so that the subconscious can be accessed.
Personally, I’ve found a couple of methods to be particularly effective.
Busting out of those limiting beliefs with Aine Belton
The first is ‘The Belief Buster Kit’ by Aine Belton – ‘Aine’ being an Irish name, pronounced ‘Onya’ as explained by the lady herself in her written material. For me, the Belief Buster Kit tackles the problem of identify, banishing and replacing limiting beliefs head-on.
A pretty substantial manual is divided into distinct parts covering areas such as:
    ·        Exploring what beliefs are and how they’re formed
    ·        How to, identify limiting beliefs, through a range of exercises
    ·        Harnessing blockages to identifying limited beliefs
    ·        Dowsing techniques to test limiting beliefs
    ·        Creating and installing new empowering beliefs
    ·        Techniques for strengthening your new beliefs
    ·        Tips for ‘shifting your paradigm’
    ·        Exploring spiritual connections and your ‘higher self’
But what has always been the most effective element for me is the ‘Belief Buster Meditation’ – a downloadable MP3 audio track in which Aine guides you through a complete sensory meditation, or hypnotic experience to my mind, where you remove a given limiting belief and replace it with a new, empowering belief.
I won’t spoil the experience by giving away the content here, but I have always found this extremely powerful, relaxing and uplifting, and an excellent way to make the changes I want. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get ‘unstuck’.
Tapping your (money) troubles away with theMoney Beyond Belief! Home Tapping System’
Now let’s be honest, for most of us, our beliefs about money – and a desire to attract more of it into our lives –are among the biggest changes we want to make.  So the second method is what I believe is a new programme from Brad Yates and Dr Joe Vitale, called the Money Beyond Belief! Home Tapping System’.
I must confess to being a real fan of Joe, who’s one of the stars of ‘The Secret’. In fact, I’ve invested in a number of his books and development programs in the past, but was particularly interested in this one as it’s based on ‘Tapping’ or Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), which I learnt some time ago from a UK-based teacher and Reiki Master called June Spencer – www.dragonflywellnesscentre.com.
Not come across EFT? Well, it employs the same Energy Meridians as defined by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and used in Acupuncture and Acupressure, as well as other complementary therapies. Very basically, you tap on particular points on the body, to remove energy blockages and thereby release unhelpful emotions.
The Money Beyond Belief! Home Tapping System focuses on these methods, through a 9-point Tapping System, to change your negative beliefs about money (as well as other aspects of your life) and thereby allow abundance to flow in.
The package itself includes downloadable MP3  recordings of seminars centred on Healing Limiting Beliefs, Developing A Positive Self Image, Clearing Blocks to Abundance and Tapping Into Vibrant Health. There are also PDFs of a collection of articles by Brad and a book entitledThe Seven Lost Secrets of Success’, plus another guided meditation focused on abundance.
Perhaps best of all, once you’ve completed the program, you can spend as little as five to six minutes a day, according to Brad and Joe, multiplying your ‘Wealth Mindset’ over and over. As for me, well I’m an EFT convert and am really enjoying this latest offering from two of the personal development world’s finest.
So once again, it’s well worth a look. And please, let me know how you get on!
