Can the Mind Really Heal the Body?

Truly inspiring - Betty Iams
With John Lee introducing Betty Iams

Imagine being diagnosed with an ‘incurable’ and ‘untreatable’ illness. One that is expected to leave you reliant on a wheelchair to get around in a relatively short period of time.

In such circumstances, most of us would understandably accept the devastating prognosis given to us by the medical professionals around us.

But not Betty Iams who, at the age of just 58, was told the sad news that she – like her mother before her – had developed primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis.

She took responsibility for her life, her health and her condition, and made what can only be described as a miraculous recovery.

Now, 18 years on, she helps others to achieve great things in their own lives, as she explains in this marvellous video interview with Mind Movies’ Natalie Ledwell.
